On Wednesday 25 February 2026, Vlerick Business School will again organize its Mergers, Acquisitions & Buyouts Conference at MeetDistrict - Planet Group Arena Gent(formerly Ghelamco).
This annual event with participation of M&A experts, entrepreneurs and academics attracts candidate entrepreneurs who are preparing for an acquisition (MBI) or also existing entrepreneurs who want to be broadly informed about a future merger, acquisition or sale.
During this day (9am-21pm), participants will have a choice of three content tracks:
- Acquiring Your Own Business (MBO/MBI).
- Mergers and acquisitions as growth accelerators
- Shareholder management & SME transfer
There will also be a pre-conference with an advice market with individual consultations with various takeover experts including UNIZO Overnamemarkt.be
