7. Describe the stage of the growth cycle of the business you are interested in. This can range from a start-up, recently started company, grower, mature company (with stable revenue), declining company (with decreasing revenue), distressed company, to a turnaround candidate.
8. Determine the desired timing of the takeover. Do you want to take over as soon as possible, or would you prefer to take 1 to 2 years to analyze dossiers?
