Founded in 2024, with a clear concept: a retro-vintage interior featuring Belgian classics. A great deal of attention was paid to the interior, the small details, and the menu. We have a loyal customer base and a Google rating of 4.7/5. Located in the center of Mechelen, with a move-in-ready apartment above it.
Unfortunately, it is with a heavy heart that we must part with our business due to medical reasons. My husband, who works in the kitchen, has been ordered by his doctor to stop working as soon as possible because of his health issues.
Since I cannot balance caring for my husband with running a business, we are looking for a buyer—preferably someone who wants to continue the concept. There is still a great deal of potential, as our opening hours are currently limited due to my husband’s illness. There is still significant room for growth. Furthermore, YTD 2026, we have a growth margin of 20% compared to 2025.
We have a thriving business with great potential for a (financially sound) buyer. We are selling solely for medical reasons.
We are open continuously for lunch, in the afternoon, and on Thursday and Friday evenings. We offer snacks such as croques, pancakes, and pastries, as well as authentic Flemish classics.
Hours of operation: We currently have rather limited hours for a restaurant, because evenings are too difficult for my husband. Opening in the evenings, as well as on Saturday and Sunday evenings, would immediately boost sales without having to change anything else.
Marketing: Currently, we’re only posting a few updates on social media and running a radio spot on a local station. Other than that, we’re not doing any advertising, and we aren’t really active on social media.
